Dr. Anil M. Bisen’s distinguished career in academia spans over three decades of dedicated service to higher education, including more than 17 years in senior university leadership and administration. He previously served as the Vice-Chancellor of ITM Vocational University, Vadodara (Gujarat), where he provided strategic direction across academic, administrative, and operational domains, advancing the university’s vision of delivering industry-aligned, technology-integrated, and future-ready education.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Bisen has held several prestigious leadership positions, including Vice-Chancellor, Director of Engineering, and Dean of Faculty. These roles reflect his strong strategic vision, academic leadership, and administrative expertise. During his tenure at ITM Vocational University, his transformative initiatives played a pivotal role in achieving key milestones such as UGC 2(f) recognition, NAAC accreditation, and multiple institutional accolades—firmly establishing the university as a leader in vocational and industry-oriented education.
A prolific academician and researcher, Dr. Bisen is the author of nine books, including the widely acclaimed Machine Drawing (New Age Publications, Delhi), which is highly regarded in academic circles. He has published over 36 research papers in reputed international journals, holds 11 patents, and serves on the editorial and advisory boards of more than 15 international journals. His contributions as a speaker at numerous national and international conferences further highlight his impact on academic thought and policy.
Dr. Bisen has also played a significant role in fostering global academic collaborations. Dr. Anil M. Bisen served as a speaker at the 19th World Education Summit & Awards, Higher Education, organized from June 9th to 12th, 2021, by Elets Technomedia, Asia & Middle East’s premier media, technology & content consultancy organization. This premier event focused on innovation in education and was held on a 3D virtual platform.
On April 10th, 2021, Dr. Anil M. Bisen participated in a panelist discussion at the Education Summit regarding the “Implementation of Education Policy 2020,” organized by the ASM group of institutes and AICTE in New Delhi.
He was also a speaker at the “Behavior Remodeling and Classroom Delivery Enhancement Techniques of Teacher” FDP organized by ITM Vocational University from February 22nd to 26th, 2021.
On September 7th, 2020, Dr. Anil M. Bisen addressed the topic “National Education Policy: Opportunities and Challenges in Implementation,” organized by the ASM group of Institutions and the Centre for Education Growth & Research (CEGR) in New Delhi.
Additionally, he was a speaker at the “Short Term Training Program on Hydraulics Design,” hosted by ITM Vocational University, Vadodara, from June 3rd to 5th, 2020.
